To me that is a very weak excuse. He has done nothing but get the country into deeper trouble. I know one thing he could do. Stop child benefit payments to all EU couples (excluding british of course) that would save a fortune and deter them from coming here.
I agree. Not a chance of us getting a referendum off the Tories. It's all spin, he's trying to stem the loss of voters to UKIP. He could of course stem the tide completely by giving us a referendum in this parliament, but he wont do that because he's scared we're going to ditch the EU.
