Angry Motorists who don't know roundabouts should be banned!

    Hell yeah!

So there I was driving up to a roundabout in the right hand lane to go straight over, which is allowed here. (Arrows painted clearly on the road).

In the left hand lane adjacent to me was the goon who circumnavigated the outside of the roundabout to turn RIGHT.

Fortunately she was a little ahead of me, and due to an accident I had several years ago when a different goon made a similar manouevre on the very same roundabout, I anticipated her actions and avoided another accident. She was given a right honking though.

And don't get me started on cyclists with no lights.

Yep, worst places to negotiate and most common place to come across total morons.
Mini-roundabouts are nearly as bad, like the one near my house where 50% of people try to ignore you when you're coming towards them and you're turning right, and clearly indicating that that is your intention - i.e ...your right of way.

You wouldn't believe how many times I could have smacked into the driver's side of a car if I'd felt like it.

Anyone looking for an insurance claim....you'd have it gifted.

    Hmm....there's a thought.

I had a lot of hassle with the insurance over the accident I had on that roundabout. He was clearly in the wrong but made out it was my fault. No witnesses either.

I have a mini roundabout top of my road. I always anticipate the car 50 yards down the road coming towards me as I indicate to turn right is going to shoot straight across without slowing or stopping 95% of the time they do!

Or the woman indicating to come out of my road and I stop to let her as she has right of way, but no she sits there and despite me waving her on she sits and waits, then when I finally give up and pull out, she does the same!

With idiots like that I fantasise about my vehicle being a beat up old transit with an RSJ for the front bumper

Usually plenty of witnesses around on the one near me...plus I always have my camera with me, (as well as mobile phone one) which I would use.

One reason I ALWAYS use my indicators too. They tend to stay on after an accident.

One of my old dump trucks would do nicely.

Even this 'small' one weighs 26 tons empty, and that front bumper is 1" thick steel. 'Come on...make my day' .

This happens so often to me that I honestly believe that people just don't know the highway code.
If I'm in the car on my own I've got into the habit of just going and let them slam their brakes on.
