Given the timetable you outlined that would be your ONLY option to make it.
Just be sure your application is 100% fully compliant in content and document quality.

I'm sure it will help you get that appointment slot. Be prepared to be patient, lots of other's also following the PEO route
due to long waiting times.
Also be aware that the appointment slots are only made available for 6 weeks in advance. Good luck

........................... seems an excellent ... I should imagine there'd be every chance of securing an appointment at either Croydon - or one or other of the UKBA's seven Public Enquiry Offices - this far ahead.

... on reflection, it may not be feasible in the event of any rigid adherence to the UKBA's ruling against applying sooner than 28 days prior to the 2nd anniversary date of the foreign partner's arrival here.

But I'd say it's definitely worth the couple making a call to explain the extenuating circumstances. And ... ... who knows ??
