UK media making a MASSIVE story out of basically SOD ALL!!! .... not to mention the news was already 3 days old by the time they reported it.

They had to go back to 2010 to find another such episode, and they then stopped digging once they got as far back as 1066 with no more recording!!

Now they are calling for a mass cull of all urban foxes

1,000's of kids a year are bitten by dog alone, and 100's end up needing surgery, and at least 1 kid gets killed every year or two so why the hell aren't we calling for all dogs to be culled???

there was a case a couple of years ago, but why leave a window or door open so anyone could walk in the house, nevermind a fox

I am all for culling their owners...followed by the dogs in question.

I would also consider CLOSING the windows and doors though, and replacing my large size catflap with a smaller one, if I had Fox prey in the house.

I agree. The response has been crazy and the media are mainly to blame for giving this nothing story so much prominence.

However, I don't know how much of this has been whipped up by the pro-fox hunting lobby. I'm sure they would like to see foxes portrayed as baby attacking pests!
