car insurance

my insurance is due this month and i have been busy looking at a cheaper quote, my own insurance is with Admiral and its been reduced from £266 to £244, not bad i thought
Anyway on the internet i went and i have got it down to £208, so do i stay or do i go
Today i got a phone call from Admiral saying its due soon and is the quote ok, i told them i am looking for a better quote, they asked if i have any and i told them yes its with elephant and the price is £208 and i may go with them, they told me that this site is there sister site and they could match that price and they did there and then, i am a happy bunny

what i cant understand is why these insurance companys dont reward their long standing customers, usualy if you stay with them they up the price each year,

but give cheap to new customers, theres no loyalty at all,

why didnt they give you the lower price to start with,

and i wouldnt be surprised if you could have got even cheaper shopping around,

most of us cant be bothered shopping around and they know this,

still at least you came away happy
