It was a last resort for me even having him in _his_ bed in the room, when I first had him I bought a sleeping cage for him, I knew he would play up for around 3 nights but had to give up getting him used to it because the man in the flat above me complained about it.
As we now sleep has turned out better than I thought, I expected him to want me awake when he was but he is good as gold until I awake.

I trained my daughter to sleep on her own bedroom since the age of seven , I read her books , sing lullaby, pray and 15minutes cuddle before i go to my own bedroom...only on some occassions like if she gets a bad dream then she is allowed to sleep over my bedroom.
My parents did the same , I am thrown out of their bedroom at the age of seven (i suppose for some privacy reasons , they dont want me to see them.. )
