    Updates for my ILR application..............

Hiya! I apply ILR through settlement checking service on 12th Feb 2013.
16th Feb: £991 is gone through my bank account
18th Feb: I received a letter from Home Office UK Border Agency saying that:

Thank you for the application by the above-named on Form SET M. It will now be passed to a casework unit to await consideration.Etc.

I will keep you update on my visa status x

I have one question please: Do I still need to do Biometric? even though I have done it in my previous application( settlement visa)? Thanks

You should have included any existing Bio card as part of the ILR application.
If any additional actions/ammendments are required you will be informed by UKBA

Anyone with no existing Bio would have landed to section 17 of the form which is the formal application for Bio.

Hi Terpe thanks but I don't have a bio card. I just answer Yes to a question if I been taken a picture and finger prints in the previous application which is I did in Manila 2 years ago x

It just that make me wonder if I will still have to do Biometric if Yes not a problem but if no will be great to save £19.20 lol x

Yes, you had your bio done in Manila so you answered yes to question 7 then moved on to the questions where you gave all those details etc.

Eventually you landed at 17 which you completed right? That's the Bio application
The form asks for those details

That settlement checking service is really worth the extra payment in my opinion. It just gives that extra security and confidence as they do double check everything.
Well done for selectiong that option.
Statistically Belle, having done the checking service your ILR decision will be a little faster.

Here's hoping for a speedy and positive outcome
