This is what happens when you and I don't take an interest in what's going on in our own areas. 3 parking spaces instead of the 150 a site of this size should have and the vote is rushed through. Shameful.

You are right Marco it is shameful and disgusting - it shows what can happen when you have a small planning committee where the muslims and lefty fellow traveller councillors are in the majority. I suppose the only action objecting residents can take is to make a maladministration complaint to the Ombudsman or try and get some sort of planning appeal. All the taxi drivers looked happy.

Interesting that the procedures were on video - I'm not so sure if that would be allowed by our local authority but if it was they can exclude the public by declaring it a part 2 item under The Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012
