    Holland wants to impose good citizenship contracts on EU migrants

    the Dutch are worried to

    The Dutch government wants to impose good citizenship contracts on all foreigners, including European Union citizens, taking up residency in Holland ahead of the lifting of migration restrictions on Romanians and Bulgarians next year.

    Looks like the sensible Dutch have given this one a bit more thought than our Government - they need to make these contracts retrospective.

    My Dutch mate has been telling me for years that they have the same problems with freeloading, criminal and extremist immigrant grubs as we do.

    Seems like a good idea to me.

    If the idea can be set out legally with EU directives then it's a goer. Plenty of EU countries would adopt I'm sure.

    Probably can't as its an abuse of the immigrants human rights to expect them to agree to behave decently

    Can't really say it's a good idea as it doesn't mention the penalty for breaking the agreement. Perhaps Holland would be exactly the same as us if you break the agreement you get a social worker to help you.
