    That's a good one .

I was going to do the same in 2005...but to Hong Kong on my pushbike.

After spending a couple of thousand quid just on the bike and equipment, decided I'd miss my son too much.

It would be great to have some company, but May is too soon, because my boy is coming back home June 1st. More like September I reckon.

I met a Brit in the UK once that was sitting in his Filipino passenger Jeepney in Milton Keynes.
He drove it back from R.P..
Now thats what I call adventure!

    Think this is the one?

Now if this thing had an MOT,why does it still need a lump of 2x2 under the back wheel?

I'd love to have one of those owner Jeepneys here.

I suppose if this can pass an MOT....

I hope he's coming back with the money raised...not just using it to finance his journey and to build a nice home extension in Laguna. I'm such an old cynic.

I suppose it could cost £5000 to do the journey when you take the time fuel and border bribes into consideration!

Yes, but presumably he's seeking sponsorship, and he's hoping to have the 5 grand left out of that to give to Oxfam.
