Got my passport and documents back !

Hi, yesterday i got my all documents back (5 months waiting) and had decision letter saying i will get my biometrics in 7 biz days. I just want to ask who had their biometrics permit already,
does your surname in your biometrics was your husband's surname? coz on my letter for applying biometrics before my name there was Mrs. beverly then (my maiden name) not my husband surname.. is there nothing to worry about name on biometric will it be my husband name there?thank u hope someone will reply..i will appreciate it..

dont worry about the surnames as they have only copied whats on your passport. you can then change that name once you renewed your passport to your married so it always match your brp card.

on your BRP card now thats coming it will be your single name if your passport is on your single name. if the name on your passport is your married name then that'll be on your BRP.

I would have thought that your married name should be on everything, someone on here will be sure to inform you because I tend to be uncertain until I'm corrected!

Like what Novie said, If your passport is on your maiden name, then your BRP would be whatever is written in your passport. If you would renew your passport using your married name, then you need to apply for a replacement of your BRP (within 3 months after getting a new passport) to match your passport. They always have to be matched.

yes my passport still on my maiden name and it will expire on 2015 so i still have 2 yrs before i renew and apply for brp replacement...haist... anyway,that you @ melovesengland,@ Michael Parnham and @ raynaputi

Yes ... the surname appearing on your Biometrics Residence Permit will/should match the one shown on your passport - as both Novie and Rayna have already explained.
