    Stroud Farmers' Market

    Every Saturday 9 am to 2 pm
    Cornhill Market Place & Surrounding Streets, Stroud

    The South West's Most Awarded Farmers' Market, this is a bit like the celebrity of farmers' markets.
    Stroud Farmers' Market is multi-award winning and is well known as one of the biggest and busiest of its kind it the UK yet the produce remains incredibly local; all from a 17-mile radius.


    Stow On The Wold Farmers' Market

    2nd Thursday of each month 9am to 1pm
    Market Square, Stow-On-The Wold

    Stow On The Wold Farmers' Market boasts a fine range of produce from the local area, including farmhouse cheeses, trout from nearby lakes, freshly harvested vegetables , wines, apple juices and ciders, free range eggs, bread and pastries, and a range of locally reared meats. There are usually around 15 to 20 stalls


    Swindon Farmers' Market

    Every Sunday, 10am - 4pm
    Swindon Designer Outlet, Kemble Road, Swindon

    Swindon Farmers' Market is a popular weekly Farmers' Market.

    There are around 10 to 20 stalls each week with lots of 'tasters. Fresh breads, freshly harvested vegetables, Whiltshire Cheese and honey, farmhouse butter, traditionally reared free-range meat, farmhouse sausages and home-cured bacon, cut flowers, doughnuts, ice cream, goats cheese & milk, apple juice and wine, plants for the garden, and more.
    The market runs alongside the new National Trust visitor center and cafe and is near to the Steam Museum.


    Cheltenham Farmers' Market

    2nd and last Friday of each month, from 9am to 3pm
    Long Gardens, Promenade, Cheltenham

    Cotswold Life recently declared Cheltenham Farmers' Market the best farmers' market in Gloucestershire. It is a bustling affair in the heart of the town that offers everything from chutneys and free-range meat to fine wines.


    Winchester Farmers Market

    2nd and last Sunday of every month, 9am – 2pm
    Middle Brook Street and Middle Brook Street Car Park, Winchester

    Winchester Farmers' Market is a favourite of chef Rick Stein, this is the UK's biggest regular farmers' market. Around 90 producers present their wares, from ostrich to crabs. All the produce must be grown, reared, pickled, smoked or processed within 10 miles of the Hampshire borders.
    Fortunately for buyers, the rule doesn't apply to where you can eat it.


    The Goods Shed, Canterbury

    Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-7pm
    Sundays, 10 am — 4 pm
    Station Road West, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 8AN

    The Goods Shed, Canterbury is hosted in an old Victorian railway building. The market was set up in 2002 to
    support local cottage industries. The selection includes Cheese, Meats, Charcuterie, Fish, Wine, fresh and Vegetables and a general store. There is also a wonderful market-produce restaurant.


    Edinburgh Farmers' Market

    Saturdays, 9am-2pm
    Castle Terrace, Edinburgh

    In the shadow of the city’s castle, Edinburgh Farmers' Market sells produce as fresh as it can be. Over 55 specialist producers currently attend the market.

    The majority of stallholders are primary producers, growing what they sell. A quarter offer meat products, including specialities such as venison and water buffalo. Organic beef, chicken, lamb and pork are also available. Other types of produce include fish (lobster in season), free-range eggs (including duck eggs), cheese, seasonal fruit & vegetables, honey, pates, chillies and plants. In addition you'll find producers who bake and prepare their own farm products. Guest producers provide specialities including organic beer, liqueurs, bread, chocolates and chutneys.

    Wye Farmers' Market

    The Village Green (by the Post Office in Wye), Kent, just off the A28 between Ashford and Canterbury.
    1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, 9am-12pm

    Wye Farmers' Market is one of the oldest farmers' markets in Kent. As well as great local and specialist produce, there are regular live events and performances.
    With an enviable array of stalls selling everything from fresh bread, cakes, jams and chutneys to locally produced, organic meats, fresh fish and locally made cheeses.
    You can enjoy a spicy curried goat wrap washed down with a glass of locally produced sparkling wine.


    Moseley Farmers' Market

    Every 4th Saturday of the month, 9am-3pm
    The Village Green, Alcester Road, Moseley, Birmingham

    Moseley Farmers' Market is in the heart of one of Britain’s “foodiest towns”, according to Olive magazine, this monthly market includes more than 50 stalls from across the Midlands.
    Around 50,000 attend each volunteer-run market and last year it won the Country's Best award from the National Farmers’ Retail and Markets Association.
    A really good range of quality produce, including gifts and plants.


    Treacle Market

    The Market Place, Chestergate, Mill Street and Castle Street, Macclesfield
    The last Sunday of every month, 10am-3:30pm

    The Treacle Market name refers to the fabled incident when a treacle wagon overturned in the cobbbled town centre. Shopper come here in search of the local farm cheese, sourdough from the local bakers, and the warm comfort food supplied by the Greek Kitchen stall.
    There's a huge range of stallholders selling all the local produce plus some speciality items. See the website for details and photo gallery.
    There are also sellers of arts, crafts and antiques here.


    Teme Valley Market

    The Talbot, Knightwick, Worcester WR6 5PH
    2nd Sunday of the month, 11am-1.30pm

    The Teme Valley Market is held in the back room of a pub with the aim of bringing high quality country fare and goods to a discriminating public.
    This Market has been trading since October 1998 making it one of the oldest farmers markets in the country. Situated in the heart of the Worcestershire/Herefordshire countryside alongside the river Teme, it is easily accessible with free parking.
    It sells award-winning local fare and you can round up your day with a pint.


    Brixton Farmer's MarketBrixton Farmer's Market

    Farmers Market is every Sunday, 10am-2pm

    Brixton Farmer's Market is an inner-city farmers' market where you can taste all the ready-to-eat snacks on offer. All the fresh food you could want is available, from artisan bread, to homemade jam, and the vibrant daily market has a lot more.

    all to far for me Peter, but i must admit, they are a nice place to walk around and seeing all there good looking foods,
    A good few years ago in france every saturday was market day and the town centre in many a village was full of these markets, what you could not buy you could write on a postage stamp and the free tasting was everywhere, that included the wine too, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH those was the days

    Farmers' Market Derby

    Market Place, Derby
    Every 3rd Thursday in the month, 8am-2pm

    The Farmers' Market Derby offers a unique range of locally and internationally sourced produce for sale, including cheeses, meats, fresh vegetables, breads, pies, cakes, plants and even ostrich burgers!
