Do you think I have a good chance when the time comes for a spouse visa.

I know Im a long way off but I wanted to ask anyway.

If you guys think I have a good chance of getting a spouse visa for my intended when the time comes.

    I earn over £18600.

I have my own 2 bed property (mortgaged).

I have been in full time employment since 1999.

I obviously will have met my girl on more than one occasion and be married lol.

Just do your best to make certain you really are right for each other...or as much as you can be. The more time you can spend together, the better...ideally in everyday situations and some that involve a bit of stress or decision-making. These can be very telling.

    'Fools rush in' etc.

Yep you seem to tick all the boxes as far as finances and accommodation are concerned.
    Sound advice from Graham though

Yes. I'd say start getting the evidence together now. So ok she might turn out not to be "the one", but if you start a portfolio of evidence, it can be that bit less stressful if it does all work out.

So buy a file, some folders, and keep in there your boarding pass, air tickets (or printout from the airline you will get mailed). Take some photos together in front of recognisable landmarks, only a few, you don't need hundreds. Have a look now through your chat logs and screengrab some good ones and paste into a word document, that you can add to as time goes on - load less stressful than suddenly having to get hold of 2 years worth.

    Just a suggestion anyway

Well I don't believe it . I completely lost my post.
Anyway, the gist of it was this.
A)Yes you could meet the UKBA key requirements
B)If you wanted/needed to and you fully understood the cultural diferences for each of you.
I think I have to shut down and reboot something is not not working on my computor

You should also regularly write letters to each other, keep both the letter and the envelopes as they show the dates and addresses posted too. When my missus was interviewed at the CFO they wanted evidence of relationship in the form of letters.

All this may seen daunting now but its quite easy really as long as you get organised in advance.

When I brought the ex over there was no internet, so letters only.

I still have them...with the envelopes...as lordna has suggested.

I try not to read them these days.
