Another nasty cold and snowy day here in Northampton.
Been a funny week with snow one day, sunshine and blue skies another, then back to snow ...............
Yes folks, like Steve says stay safe
Been doing my daily walk this morning, my footprints were the first for the first couple of miles. Having said that it was really peaceful and beautiful, makes you feel glad to be alive!
Thankfully we seem to be getting away with it in the soft south - 3 degrees dull and a chilly wind. A bit of sleet forecast for Saturday
Oh yes... snowing and really windy...
that adds more:
just at home and keep on eating...
No worries we might have a really good summer !!
I have stocked up with supplies, battened down the hatches and taken the day off.
Keeping cosy.
Update: Just started snowing here !
This was our snowy garden this morning..

...When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible...

This kind of weather is no good...
windy and freezing cold
Hi Terpe,
yes we still have two.
As a matter of interest there is an article in today's local paper they are looking for new homes for budgie's that inmates at Camp Hill had that they were not allowed to take with them when moved from the closing prison,
one squawks "lights out" every evening!
Mick.
as usual no snow here in Barnstaple but LOTS of rain. i hate being wet going to work
No amount of makeup can mask an ugly heart
So windy here in Scotland! I thought winter is over! It is just the beginning
Doesn't anyone enjoy the cold weather? I happen to think whatever the weather it's great as long as you dress accordingly, I go out in whatever weather is thrown at us, it's just normal to me, even Maritess has noticed you can breath here in the UK. Be grateful your alive to see it because there are so many unfortunate people dying in this world through one catastrophe or another and I say we're damn lucky!
Going to have to get back to you on that Michael.

AN HAPPY WIFE IS A HAPPY LIFE
Sleety snow here this morning not really lying thankfully
Proper Yorkshire snow for us tough northerners
Thankyou Les, I love the weather in the UK. A neighbour of mine a few years ago had a friend from Norway come to stay for a week and at that time the average was about minus 3% and the girl from Norway kept complaining it was too warm!
Could be right there Alan!
