Am I also welcome here? Hello to everybody!

Hello I am a gay and married to a British in the Philippines. I know this is not legal in the Philippines so we are planning to get married in the UK and will apply Fiance visa. I would like to know more about getting a fiance visa.
Any help and advise will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.
Good Day to everyone in this forum

    Thanks DADA,
Yes we are married here but I don't think so if NSO will accept our marriage and will issue authenticated papers. The pastor said, we may show our cert. to embassy but I am not sure if marrying same sex is accepted at NSO, CFO, etc.

As far as I am aware it is all the same paperwork as we needed to bring my Fiancee home here, it is just a different ticking of a box on the form for Civil Marriage or Civil Partnership

    http://www.britishembassy.gov.uk/ser...=1029287482597

Form VAF2 is what is needed I believe

    hi gordon
think documents are the same but you have to show evidence of a 2 year relationship (equal rights) i don't think so

    regards
    martin

How do I qualify to join my unmarried or same-sex partner in the UK?
You and your unmarried or same-sex partner must show that:
any previous marriage, civil partnership or similar relationship, has permanently broken down
you have been living together in a relationship similar to marriage or civil partnership for two years or more
you have suitable accommodation which is owned or lived in only by you and your household, and where you and your dependants can live without any help from public funds
you can support yourselves and any dependants without any help from public funds
you intend to live together permanently
your partner is not under 18, and
    you are not under 18.

The Entry Clearance Officer will need to see evidence of a two-year relationship. This may include:
documents showing joint commitments, such as bank accounts, investments, rent agreements or mortgages, and
letters linking you to the same address, and official records (such as a gas or electricity bill or proof of your rent or mortgage arrangements) of your address

At first, you will be allowed to stay and work in the UK for two years. Near the end of this time, if you are still partners and intend to continue living together, you can apply to stay permanently in the UK.

If you and your unmarried or same-sex partner have been living together outside the UK for four years or more and you meet all the necessary requirements to stay permanently in the UK, you may be granted indefinite leave to enter. These requirements include showing that you have the necessary level of knowledge of the English language and life in the UK (see the relevant section of this guidance for more information).

Greetings to the both of you like others say your find no problems on this site with being gay.

My Wife a few months back bumped into Gay Phills on the bus a few times who had come over recently and were not nurses. I don't know all the details but i think they came over on cvill partnership or possibly vist visas at first. So it is possible.

Although you may get problems with the phill authorities, as your Brit partner will have told you the UK authorities should and can not show any prediuce agaisnt you both.
In fact of you showed that you were less like to recieve problems in the UK as a couple it should work as a postive as to why you should be allowed over.

but u said u married already in philly? so why get married here in uk?
They were not legally married in the R.P.
    That would be impossible.
They are still trying to get their heads around the condom issue here for crying out loud!!

Hello Gordon, Welcome to this forum. Wow You're prettier than any other real woman I know. I love gays. They're jolly and friendly. I admire you for telling everyone here that you're gay and proud of it. Enjoy your reading on many threads here that will help you find the answers to your Visa queries. Loads of friends here will tell you as well
