When I applied for a 'visa' extension, I just called Philippine Embassy in London and asked what to do, they send the form I filled it in sent my passport and fee within two days my passport was returned with a 59 day extension, very simple really, Don't worry about London it's there by default, I just got a local solicitor to sign only cost a fiver, good luck!
