I think you are right McGregor03. CNI is asked if a British Citizen decides to marry a Filipina in the Philippines nowadays. It used to be one of the requirements for a fiancee visa BEFORE but it is no longer now. Since your fiance is divorced, you are spot on taking his Divorce Decree with your application. Once again, good luck with your application.

I do not blame you. I was the same before I lodged my application. I also insisted before that he get CNI but he wasn't able to secure it. He e-mailed the Local Registry Office to keep my mouth shut. The reply convinced me that it is no longer needed. I would be happy to send you a copy of the e-mail if it gives you peace of mind.
