    McDonalds in Boracay!

I was supprised to see a McDonalds now in Boracay, or should i say not.
Won't be long now before we have Jolibee and all the others. I wasn't happy as it was so busy. That can only be taking trade away from the idependent restobars.
Still Boracay was as lovely as ever except for the algae which was almost everywhere, but then its March.

Interesting - were the McGrease prices same as the rest of the PI or rip off Boracay levels ?

I remember we had a Shakeys Pizza there and the price of that made me shake compared with Legaspi

Everything seems to have increased in price in a matter of a few months

Red Horse can was around 24 pesos in November now its over 40

Marlboro Red 74 pesos use to be around 34 pesos

A big mac meal was 119 now its 160......

Yes i know all about the sin tax but it seems to have effected many things not just booze and tobacco

Best rate i could get in my first week was 60.20

Really? Is because you are sending money or has it just gone up a bit?
