It can be very expensive for the union to carry on with a strike if you haven't dotted the i's and crossed the t's.

They've got the cheek of the devil even considering a strike, they are obviously thick skinned and oblivious to public opinion.

Cushy public sector conditions, untold sick leave, many on fat gold plated pensions. There are many unemployed people who would give their right arm for one of these jobs.
