US woman facing Scots family split wins immigration challenge

An American woman who faced being separated from her family in Scotland after losing the right to remain in the UK has won a court battle with the immigration authorities.

they left the UK for 7yrs, she was given a 6 month visit visa, and stayed for 5yrs

7 yrs is no holiday

Still, common sense must also prevail IMO....both husband and children being British Citizens.
