I wouldn't send wine personally unless you put it in a good watertight bag.
The microwave may work but
will not function correctly.
The microwave power output will be 20% over nominal.
If it has an electronic timer it will be 20% faster. Maybe it's cheaper to buy a micrwave in Philippines?
Anyway it's your choice.
LBC are pretty strict on the contents. Much stricter than many others.
If you send something on their prohibited list you'll have no comeback at all and may get charged for incurred costs. Be careful. At least look up their advice on their website.
As far as I know customs are no longer x-raying the containers or individual boxes. I seem to recall there's legislation prevent it. (maybe I got confused

)
We all send stuffs that might not be strictly allowed, but as long as there's no danger or serious reasons against (such as legal) then common sense prevails IMO
Have fun filling up your box. My daughter often asks for Pasta/Spaghetti. She claims ours is a much better quality and so much cheaper. I don't know how true that is but it's really not at all expensive in UK so I do send lots.
