Gud day! Im new to this site and i need help for my application in uk

I would like to ask regarding about VISA APPLICATION ONLINE.
I am already married to a british citizen and I would like to settle in UK together with my son. I am currently in the phillipines now.
I nearly completed my application online but when I'm about to pay I wonder why I'm only paying one person 1404 USD, so I'm stucked in the payment process because I am confused about my sons payment, I already declared that I will be bringing my son with me in the UK, .
Am I in the right application form wich is settlement? or Do I need to fill up another form for my son,.?

You need to make one application yourself (where you will include some details of your son who will travel with you).
You need to make another separate visa application for your son.
2 application forms and 2 visa fees

One application for is yours. You will be giving the the answers
The other application form is your son's. The answers will be given as if HE is answering the questions.

    Hi Terpe,

    hi Terpe,
As if my son is answering all the question, but how about the question from the start asking about my details, family details and husband's details and then my son's details which for my son details that I write it already that he will travel with me...
It would be easy if only to fill up the application form on hand so I can jump and go to my son's details.. but in application online is very hard for me... I cannot go to next question without answering the required answer...
I do apologized if Im still confuse and still don't understand it.. :-((

    Many thanks,
    chelax

You need a separate application for your son as advised above by terpe and a seperate fee. As you are married to a British subject and he is your sponsor then he should be able to help you with the datails if you don't understand. Otherwise get him to ask on here and someone will help.

From what i can remember when we applied for visas for my wfe and step=daughter, the only thing you need to prove is your parental responsibilty for your son. Do both parents on your sons birth certificate consent to him going to the uk? In our case , my step daughters father on the birth certificate was written as "unknown" , so not a problem. Not sure of your circumstances so maybe yours are different. Note you will also need to take an english test now i believe which wasn't the case when we applied in 2009.

Yes, type of visa is settlement (both you and for your son also)
Purpose of visa is settlement (both you and for your son also)
    Type, for you is WIFE
Type for your son is CHILD or OTHER DEPENDANT OF SETTLED IN UK

You need to complete that form for your son on his behalf. When your sons form ask questions about 'you' or 'your' that is your son.
When your sons form ask about 'your' sponsor , that is your husband. He is the sponsor of both you and your son.

    Just follow all the questions.

You must discuss this with your husband, He is the sponsor and he has by far the major input to the visa application and must also provide almost all the documentary evidence and ALL of the financial requirement.
He can help you complete the form

Importantly he must be earning a minimum gross salary of £22,400 per year unless he is exempt.

    Hope this helps you
