Family visit visa question

Hello! I need advice in regards to the accommodation part for a family visit visa.

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I plan on my mom taking our son here so she can visit us, as well. The thing I'm worried about is I don't think our flat will be adequate for another adult. It's a one bedroom flat, almost studio type. Our son is 4 years old. So I'm just thinking, is it possible for my mom to be accommodated by a family friend who has a 4-bedroom house? Or will it be an issue that we will support her financially while she's here, but won't be staying with us?

If its a ''family visit'' she should be accommodated by you because you are her family.
