Visa expiration date

Hi,
My sister family visit visa will be expired on the 18 of may..Is it alright if she will be leaving the country on that date? or should we say she needs to leave the country before on the 18 of may? I just want to clarify before i will buy her a ticket...thanks much

Well it should be OK. The rules say not to exceed 6 months and to leave within visa validity.

Now... there's also a rule that states:-

The applicant must not be in breach of immigration law, except for any period of overstaying for 28 days or less, which will be disregarded.

I'm not suggesting your sister should stay on beyond the visa validity, just indicating that there's no impacts for minimal non compliance of departure date.............means no worries Jane
