EU bestows P189-M grant to PH for clean energy projects
The European Union is giving the Philippines some P189 million (3.5 million euro) in grants to fund projects aimed at promoting cleaner and more energy-efficient production and consumption in the country, an environment official said.

How about some regulations cleaning up vehicle emissions out there. So much pollution is caused by tricycles, trucks and knackered Jeepneys. Oh, and that diesel power generation plant near Cebu city. That chimney looks to be putting some nasties out!
