How to unlock?

My sis bought a Laptop abroad and couldn't open because it asks password. It's never been open yet. I told my niece to read all the docs i.e. manuals etc but she can't find anything there about Laptop password.
Please help so I can share to my niece.

try just pressing enter i know of one or two cases where that has worked (i can give a long winded explantation if you like but my adobo is getting cold and due to Bob crowe its been a long long day

What operating system do you have and what does the login screen log like?

I am not sure if that has windows installed. Is it possible to buy without windows? My laptop has CD included for it's operating system which bought here in UK. She bought it in Saudi and I am not sure if they sell there laptop w/o windows OS. Will ask her tomorrow. Enjoy your ADOBO.

You can get a laptop with out windows or an operating system but normall all your have is a mainly blan k screen with some text.

Ask her to describe the screen if she still has problems.

Some laptops have the operating system already on the pc in a file on the pc so not all have a windows cd others will have a manufactuers special disk.
The most important thing is the little Windows tag with the product key normally on the bottom with a little hologram.

If pressing Enter doesn't get you in, on the password screen click CTRL+ALT+DEL twice........this takes you to the ADMIN login screen.....try Enter again on that.

We've done CTRL+ALT+DEL twice/ enter but still couldn't open. It has OS windows vista installed. So I asked my sister what store in Jeddah she bought it and I visited their website and asked about the password. Then I got it. IT was THE VENDOR FAULT

well done.. if anyone else get this problem simply boot up and hold F8 then select Safe mode from here you can login as the admin with no login details and change the password..
