Mindanao lawyers help needed abduction

Hi everyone I,m looking for help finding a family lawyer in dipolog or zamboanga it is very urgent .
My son was abducted to a place called Liloy on mindanao dec 2011 by my ex wife who is now charged with child abduction and facing trial.Not really important who is right or wrong but the important thing is the security and safety of my son.He is now 6 yrs old and has been there 18mths now.The difficulty is getting him back I have to petition through the courts near his place he is now . Problem is finding a lawyer so I would apreciate any help.My life is in bits as I miss him so so much and he probably thinks I don,t love him but I do more than he knows.

Sorry to hear you have such a worrying problem. I can't help with info on a lawyer, but can I ask if he holds a British Passport already? Have you contacted the Embassy for advice?

That sounds likea nightmarish situation for you.

You are amongst friends here. We also have children with Filipinas.

Please give us more details, so that some advice can be offered....ie what passport your son holds (if any), as Steve has asked. Where was he born ?
