A man from Pakistan has been arrested just moments before he was due to take part in a suspected "sham marriage" in Blackpool.

Far too many sham weddings I feel.
With all the required checks mandated to be done by those involved in marriages, it certainly doesn't bode well for UKBA proposals to have the private landlords undertake similar checks for those seeking rented accommodation

That's the million dollar question Marco - quite possibly the same reasoning why people who have overstayed their visas and are in the country illegally are freed on "immigration bail" to continue offending
