    Unhappy Prices are shocking

Flight from Manchester to Cebu leaving may 26 then back June 5 will cost £1,700 for me and hubby then almost £600 for my son (this is the cheapest I found).

The duration of the flight going to phils is good coz its only 19 hours but coming back will take 41 hours.

You might find a much cheaper and shorter solution going via Manila

The cheapest route is either Manchester/Heathrow to Manila normally so it might be a good idea to stay in Manila for a night and catch a promo to Cebu.

A reply I made to a member last week who had the same problem

Just done a quick search and prices & times differ big time.

August 1st to August 22nd for instance....cheapest flights.

    Manchester-Cebu £1,006 22hrs/28hrs
    Heathrow-Cebu £1,028 30hrs/34hrs
    Heathrow-Manila £649 21hrs/18hrs
    Manchester-Manila £527 30hrs/43hrs

Just had a look on Tiger Airways website and flights in early August from Manila to Cebu are going for 499 peso's (+luggage) for a single journey.

    I've looked, not much difference..

I tried it before, flight might be cheaper but the cost of hotel, flight to cebu and everything will just be the same booking Manc to Cebu.

Yeah I've tried Manc to manila, still expensive. No choice I think as I need to leave on that dates. :(

Someone posted a few days ago that Emirates were doing flights for around £540 in May/June. I will find the thread.

    http://www.emirates.com/uk/english/d...ial_fares.aspx

£547 Gatwick to Manila between May 5th and June 10th with Emirates.

I'd jump on that if I was you

Looks like those cheap fares have already been snapped up then. Can't say I'm surprised especially as it's Emirates.

I usually book last minute but dunno if its going to be cheap this time. I still remember last 2010 I paid £350 flight from London to Cebu, prices gone up that quick.
