• Lib Dem Colin Payne has spent two years in Manila with his wife Jackie
• Since 2011 he has been at just a handful of meetings at North Devon Council
• During that period he has been paid £9,139.92 in allowances
• he also gets a special responsibility allowance of £1,805.87 for sitting on the council's executive committee

If the self serving Lib Dems had any decency to them they would de-select this trough feeder and allow the electors to vote in a local representative

Perhaps we should go easy on this poor chap as he appears to be having problems getting his Filipina wife over here. He's been a councillor for 29 years and this problem only seems to have started recently.

Is it about claimed allowances? Not doing the job? or his immigration issues?

The only one it should be about is why and how he gets away with his scam.
