I can't understand why people are backing someone who admits causing physical harm to a woman. There is no reason, excuse or defense. It is also unlawful.
That cuts both ways. Back in the 70's--I was what is now called a battered husband.
During 13 years of marriage to a high-control religious maniac---I had furniture thrown at me-- a 10" blade kitchen knife thrust at me--I dodged it--it ended up stuck in the door-----and my nose smashed by a punch in the face while I was fast asleep in bed. But--as usual--I kept shtoom--no one else knew about it.
