Really difficult situation now!
Firstly, this is a forum where we come for advice, sometimes moral support, and sometimes just to have a rant. When it comes to moral support, it's always going to be a biased view of the overall situation that we get, but in this case I think we now have a pretty honest picture of what happened even though it's been drip fed over the last year or so.
Sorry Mark, but I can never condone striking a woman no matter what the circumstances. Restraining in self defence I could accept, but again not knowing the full story of the exact circumstances I suggest you learn some self control in both you physical reactions and maybe your posting actions.
As for the consequences of your actions as far as this forum is concerned, I think you contribute a lot and would be missed............hence the moral dilema
