Just wait until the end of season Sales. Plenty of great bargains.
From my experience I can only suggest don't buy cheap. What I mean is get the best quality you can at a price that make you smile.
Nothing worse than a poorly designed BBQ put together with cheapo screws using flimsy cheap metal with a painted coating and crap coated grills no matter how cheap a price.

I'd also put adjustability/heat control at the top of the functionality list. Some BBQ's just have a single distance between heat source and food
