These are good - bought one last year no need for gels, fluids lighters. 4 sheets of newspaper and a match is all you need

I was wondering when that old 'chestnut' would crop up.

You mean when some old lumpwood spits out solids that end up between the teeth when scoffing that sausage

We had our first BBQ on 19th May, at 7 pm it was too cold to eat outside, very windy and rained for a while whilst I was cooking.

Oh, bye the way, we live on the Costa del Sol !!!!

This morning at 8 am it is only 16ºC and completely overcast.

What has happened to the weather here? I have lived here 25 years, by May the weather should be 100% perfect.

Our BBQ season is just ending here as the summer heat becomes unbearable. (47*c).
I've had some success using Filipino BBQ recipes involving banana ketchup and sprite in the marinade.
We are big fans of fish, so often when our ratings come back from a day trip on the sportsfish boat they provide us with our dinner ready to go on the BBQ.
