If you are just visiting the Philippines you will be given a visa waiver for 21 days at immigration. I think this applies to Ireland.

I'm from Dublin. I enter the Philippines and get a 21 day visa on arrival as jonnijon says. I have an Irish passport. Then after 21 days you can extend your visa for two months and every two months after that , up to 2 years, as I understand from the various forums I read through. I may be wrong on that but that's what folks are saying on the forums. The visa extension costs, I think I paid 4000peso when I did it last year. But if you are staying just the 21 days then visa on arrival applies. Good luck. Patrick (yes, am also a Patrick).

I believe Patrick that you may be concerned with the visa requirements between NI (UK) and RoI to catch that Dublin Flight.
Is your wife under UK immigration status or under EEA Family Permit?

Concerning entry to Philippines when travelling with a Filipina spouse, the foreign spouse and children are given a one year Balikbayan visa-free stay. No worries on that issue.

Hi Patrick, maybe if you gave us a bit more information someone could give you some proper advise.
In your first post you say you're in Northern Ireland with your Irish hubby, and in the last post you say your wife is here in Northern Ireland.
    1. Who are you and what passport do you hold?
    2. I presume that your are in Northern Ireland but flying from Dublin (Eire).
    3. How are you getting from Northern Ireland to Dublin? If flying then surely you would be classed as "in transit" and therefore no visa would be required?

Don't mean to be asking so many questions, but if you give us all of the information then someone who knows much more than me will be able to give you an answer.

Patrick, I suggest you ring this number in the Dept of Justice Dublin.

    016167700 or 1890551500.

They deal with all visa requirements.

Just be aware that unless there are special conditions within the Common Travel Area (CTA), she would normally need to a have visa.
You need to be sure you've covered both outward and inward journeys.
You may find no controls on the outward leg, but you'll certainly find immigration control on the return leg.

I'd recommend you treat with some urgency.

Does she have 'member of EU family' on her British visa?

If so, she should be ok and as you are both trvaelling together but it's up to Irish Immigration

Best thing is to contact Irish Embassy in London and if you get through to them seee what they say if not suggest you apply online to Irish Embassy in London for a multiple entry visit visa to Ireland and do asap if you are travelling soon. To be 100% sure.
