My experience in filing for ILR using premium service

    Hello everyone,
I just want to share my experience in filing for my ILR.
We (my husband and I) arrived at the Public Enquiry Office 30 minutes before my appointment. This is because of their security normal procedure.
The cashier called me first to get the payment. I thought i would pay £1426, but she only asked £1326. That's because we paid £100 when my husband booked for the appointment. After maybe 20 minutes, a PEO staff called me for my documents. She took all the documents, original and photocopy as well. And then she said that i had to wait for my biometrics to be taken. I was called for biometrics after 30-45 minutes. And we had to wait again. After 20-30 minutes, i was called again, and this time, they told me that my ILR Visa was granted! I think it only took 2 hours altogether. She said they will post my biometric permit in 7-10 working days.

Congratulations, Josie; I thoroughly recommend using the PEO service. Okay, it's more expensive ... but well~worth paying that bit extra for the sake of avoiding the seemingly interminable wait invariably entailed with postal applications.

I know its a bit expensive rather than by post, because i needed a quick result because the contract of my present job is only until june because my spouse visa is only until july.
