    Ah I just tested Jaz without prompting her at all about the north/ south divide, apparently she is a true Yorkshire girl ! Scone / gone was spoken with no hesitation. How about the confusing live as in not dead and live as in electrical.

    Lived in Thurgoland Sth Yorkshire for 28 years and we always said Scone/phone! Good luck to both of you For the 27th July
