Filipinos and english pronounciation

I never have trouble with my missus' pronounciations although she says I'm more difficult to understand than the average Brit. Too much slang probably.

The funny thing is my step-daughter now 8 and been here 3 years also laughs at her mums pronounciation...and corrects her!

I never pull up the wife on pronunciation as my Visayan is so poor. We do have a favourite phrase that she has 'pinch of needles' instead of pins and needles. Some of her song lyric interpretations are hilarious also, especially young son's nursery rhymes
