I love watching the RAF Red Arrows! We got hundreds of photos of them at the Rhyl Air Show last year.

Nice shots Alan
Photo's always look so much nice with a lovely blue sky like that.
Just watched on the TV Lewis Hamilton and David Coulthard taking a flight with the Red Arrows...... lucky devils.
Thanks Rayna and Peter
We were lucky with the weather and also to secure a 20 minute display by the Red Arrows - the Aerobatic Team which is the public face of the Royal Air Force
There was also a fly past by an RAF Typhoon - unbelievably noisy and too fast for good photos !
I used to love watching the Red Arrows flying past in formation when i was a kid
Every year we used to take a trip from Scotland down to Llandudno as my father's friend owned a hotel there.
Seemed that they practiced in that area as we would see them more than once every time we stayed.
A great sight to see

Superb pictures Doc
Decided to spend Armed Forces day at the beautiful former home of Winston Churchill, Chartwell in Kent. The National Trust have done a fantastic job in keeping the house in excellent condition for the many thousands of visitors.
It's was a beautiful day to admire the house, Churchills paintings and its beautiful gardens. Best National Trust Visit of the year so far
Great pics Doc. Red Arrows certainly a class outfit. Good to hear you had a great day Mark.

I can't wait to see this again in Dartmouth Regatta. It's happen here every year air display show.
Mari, Arthur and Ann - thanks for your posts
The photos are original ( not altered ) but I did select just a few for the Forum .
Of course it's not just a boost for tourism and a great photo opportunity - Armed Forces Day recognises the contribution made by service personnel past and present .

Fabulous photos Doc Alan! My father was in the Royal Air Force for 22 years and I grew up on numerous bases, so good to see that the red arrows are still flying and wowing the crowds that love to watch them!
