One for Graham - Free Yorkshire Tea Bags

Buy todays (Sat 6th) Daily Express for £0.80 and there's a voucher on page 39 for 80 free Yorkshire Tea Bags from Sainsbury's, Tesco & Morrisons. Just got mine from JS on the shelf @ £2.48.

Obviously not premier quality like Thames Valley Tea Bags but it's something for nothing

I thought this was going to say Free Yorkshire Puddings.

Just bought a load of typhoo teabags from Morrisons yesterday at half price. 240 for under £3.

Problem with that is, Typhoo doesn't taste so nice Seriously though, tea is subjective, Typhoo to me is way too weak.

I usually buy that Yorkshire Tea, it's pretty good, but surprisingly, Aldi's tea is up there with the best. Work that one out.
Oh and Sainsburys own brand - is it called red something, been ages since I bought it, sometimes its really good, sometimes it's like dishwater. Can only guess they have a number of suppliers

All down to personal preferences although I don't think I've tried Yorkshire tea before - unless it was on offer.

So we've gone from talking about Steve's dinner to teabags!

Now that's a kettle of fish.

    Anything else brewing?

Thanks very much for drawing my attention to this Dedworth.

Having just done a quick calculation, sadly it seems I would be spending more than if I were to stick with my current coffee-drinking habit...offer or not.

1 jar of Tesco own brand instant coffee (100g #3 strength rated)) = 47p and lasts 2 weeks.

@5 coffees per day = 70 coffees per fortnight. = 0.67p per coffee.

80 teabags @ 80p = 1.0p per cup of tea (assuming single use).

Admitted the coffee was probably scraped from sides of the ship's hold.

So that's why you're always full of beans Graham!

Going by those figures coffee seems to costa lot.

Maybe you should turn over a new leaf and buy just tea. You'll have more left in the pot too.

Seemed to be lots of folks exchanging their voucher cuttings at Waitrose today.

    I never drink tea.
Oh, except for green tea. Very healthy.

Can't remember the last time I drank tea.

I think my coffee is pretty economical at less than 1p a cup.

One reason I've never set foot in Starcrooks.

My mate bought me a cup of tea at Tesco today. Tasted lovely, possibly because it was FREE.
