Hi all .
I just want a little advice if possible
My wife and myself will be applying for her uk visa early January . I have 2 children aged 12 and 10 years old from my previous marriage here in the uk . I know the minimum income is 18,600 that is required and If you are sponsoring a child as well as a partner you will need an income of at least £22,400.
For each additional child being sponsored you will need an additional income of £2,400. For example, if you are you are bringing 2 children with you to the United Kingdom, you must have and income of £22,400 and £2,400 for the additional child, so a total of £24,800.
As my children are in the uk does the minimum income apply as my children are here and living with my ex wife . My basic salary is 24,700 plus overtime which takes that up to 28,000 to 29.000 a year the problem I have is when I take holiday there is no overtime so for 4 weeks of the year I earn my basic wage . I have savings of around 12.000 pounds will that be taken into account ?
The reason I ask this question it says on the uk border page If you are sponsoring a wife and child to come into the country you require to earn the salary syated above , but I cant see anywhere that mentions if they are already uk citizens ..
Hope someone can make this clear for me .........otherwise I will be going into the office at work demanding a wage rise !!!!
