We don't know where to start really. How should we start with the spouse visa application? Thank you again.

Hiya Cherrie if you start in the forum homepage itself you will see a list of categories look down to the category which is UK VISA/British Citizenship and go into that then look at the list of threads I believe its the 4th one down which says All New Guide How to apply for a spouse/partner visa then click on that, that will give you full details and requirements on the procedure.
