I wouldn't expect that to be a problem, as long as there are regular payments in and out of the account. Many people keep their current account balance low because they can earn more interest by keeping the money on other accounts.

you have to prove, that you will have no need to have 'recourse to public funds', but as said on here many times , a balance of a few £1000's in your husbands current account should help you prove this , that's if your husband doesn't have a savings account with a few £1000s in..
if his balance on his statements has been steadily increasing, and his final statements show a few £1000's then i wouldn't have thought it be a problem.
infact it should be more difficult to prove this for a spouse visa than a fiancee' visa, as for a spouse visa you should have no 3rd party support and also becuase you can work on a spouse visa, but i've had 3rd party support thru all my visa appsand not had a problem
