Boots staff on zero-hours contracts could be sent to work abroad

it's time the government protected workers and banned zero hour contracts

Staff on zero-hours contracts at Boots may be sent to work abroad with little notice.

I doubt very much that any Conservative led government will seriously challenge this practise. It's bosses taking the aided by cheap Eastern European labour which enables them to get away with it.

do it or get the boot
they have to abide by a ridiculous work contract that must be on a thin line of being in breach of human rights,

There was something on the TV yesterday about Amazon and these zero hour contracts. Seem most unfair.

Let the Union bashers be proud of this

What else should we expect when the present government keeps on chipping away at employment rights

Normal Workers pay goes down and Boardroom pay goes sky high = over the last 5 years

What some of these companies are paying their workers is a disgrace

This seems to be the latest fad like exposure about something that's been around for years. I received a stupid round robin email earlier suggesting I boycott Sports Direct, no doubt the one about Boots will follow shortly

As one would expect Labour did nothing to outlaw them whilst in power.
