My wife has been there for a wedding a few years ago. From our town it is roughly a 1hr drive to Infanta Quezon where you can catch the boat to Polillo. She didn't seem to enjoy herself at the time but i put it down to the rough banca trip she had on the outward trip Asked her again today and she said 'pangit beaches, hindi maganda'. Showed her the pictures you guys have posted and she reckons that most of the beaches are rocky with grey sand Guess she didn't go to the right place!

If you have been to Quezon and the provinces in Bicol you will notice they are all undeveloped with few roads and infrastructure. For some reason the national government does not see these areas as a priority in tourist development
