21 to 30 days visa

I have read various web site and it seems that you can now get 30 days free visa from 1st of August 2013. Have anyone here had their passport stamped with 30 days on arrival?

Is it possible to get everything done from exchanging CNI to getting married within that 30 days? or is that not enough.

If thats not enough of days, can I book a return flight ticket for 59 days stay and just extend the visa when I get to Philippines? I have been trying to get the 59 days visa here in the UK but they wanted my bank statement etc etc. Im on paperless and for some reason Im not having much luck getting the paper bank statements from Lloyds.

Hi there, to be be honest getting married in the Philippines need not be as difficult or challenging as some would have you believe.
As with any important event, proper planning is the key.

It's perfectly possible to achieve that wedding within 30 days. Some members have even managed around 14 days.

Get all the documents needed (for both parties) prepared ahead of time. Check the validity of each document. It's always better to have too documents than not enough. If there's any question if you need one or not, just get it. Period

Please feel free to check this with the British Embassy, but your Fiancee can actually collect the needed local CNI from the Embassy herself. This would save time. (not much but it all helps)
There's no getting away from the 10 day waiting period for the Marriage Licence, but again, with careful planning you can avoid having that 10 days stretched out to 11,12 or 13

If you really want to get that 59 day visa then it's a simple thing to secure it upon arrival at the airport from the Immigration Office. You'll need to have the correct amount of money in Peso

I can't help you with the bank statement problems you're having, other than to say it really should not be such a problem for your bank to have paper copies made available to you (stamped as true records)

If you're considering making a UK Spouse Visa Application then you'll need to have those statements anyway, so better to resolve those little niggles asap

Many thanks for that. Extending my stay is a backup just in case things didn't go according to the plan. From my recent estimation I think we can get everything done within 3 weeks so we gonna go for 30 days then.

forget about the bank statements just extend when you get there its much easier than having to sort out bank statements etc If it was me i,d allow just a bit more than 30 days just in case as things here don,t often go smoothly although like terpe said it can be done quicker but you need luck on your side for it to happen .

if your going to be extending to 59 day visa, check your return ticket is changeable then you could call in a travel agent when your there to change return flight, i know with KLM they charge i think its
either £50 or £100 fee to change , plus if return flight is dearer then you also pay the difference, but if its cheaper you get nothing back

Yes, I used to get 1 year 'open' tickets with KLM , then change the return date if needed...but cost £75 to change, even 15 or 20 years ago.

So which is your favourite airline? Im on a budget but I don't want a really cheap one that would cause me more hassle. I have check some return flights and they are at around £600-800 mark.

Etihad and Singapore are they any good? I have used Qatar before.

Out of interest how much is it to change the date on a fixed return ticket? I know open ticket is probably the best for me but wont that cost more initially?

where are you headed if its cebu the best one is cathay pacific as you only wait for 50 minutes at hongkong for your change over and gets you in around midday to cebu.also aisiana wait time at incheon is 3 hours ive used them too to go to cebu quite cheap.

Of course..Its an easy matter to extend here after 21/30 days... They have a new visa that is good for 6 months if you wish.. Lots of extension options.

Etihad were perfectly good on my trip last year....and cheap.

Just a few hours to sit in the transit lounge in Abu Dhabi, eating the extra food and drink I'd stashed away on the first part of the flight. Free internet.
