Burkha Woman should be jailed for contempt of court

Judge orders Muslim woman to remove burkha during court appearance then bans her from entering plea after she refuses

The Judge is a refreshing change from the usual limp wristed judiciary but he should have locked this woman up until she complied rather than allow the legal aid lawyers to trouser more taxpayers money

She has managed to cause a delay and extra expense in the administration of justice. I believe that if the judge had remanded her into custody pending any legal argument then her attitude may have changed.
I agree with Andy, we need to adopt the French attitude to dealing with this issue.

The laws, rules and concepts of our freedoms and democracy are being twisted and distorted and all governments of any colour have no incentive or motivation to bring those laws, rules and concepts up to date.
How has our country evolved into this

One law for us and another for 'them'.

Want to live here ? Obey our laws. Otherwise, the exit door is always open.

It does seem that way at times Steve.

If you want to steer clear of the law...stop driving.

No problem the law-enforcers targeting the sitting ducks.

Punch somebody in the face in the street on a Saturday night and you'll probably get away with a 'caution'.

Do 90mph on a deserted motorway and you'll pay £150 quid plus points on your licence that may lose you your job, etc. Easy meat.

Remind me not to remove my shoes when entering a mosque...as I'm NOT part of their religion.

    Works both ways.

I see that silly Lib-Dem Vince Cable man has been whining about the 'dirty politics' of people daring to question the immigration situation in this country.
Time he was booked into a retirement home...preferably in Bradford or Leicester.

I noticed that yesterday Ded. The Telegraph named her but the BBC referred to her as D. Once I googled her name details of the other case come up so perhaps that's the reason. She's quite clearly a scumbag and with a bit of luck both Juries will realise that.
