It's fine. No problems at all.
That's the case for virtually all visa with settlement route, that the sponsor pays by their card.

Just to echo everyone else,, i paid for our application last month on my card

I filled out the whole application for my wife,used my email address which she also has use of and paid for everything with my card.All she had to do was hand in the documents and wait for the visa to come.
