I think we're too reliant on the home countries telling us. Perhaps we need to introduce some form of immigration CRB check. You don't get in without one.
Interesting both the highlighted cases in Northampton involved immigrants from different Countries so it's not just a problem with Romanians, which suggests we need to sort something out.
In the meantime we bang the scumbag up but the poor victim decides to go and live abroad
