We're just supposed to shut up and bend over.
We have just come back from Australia and there is an election going on.
The bad news is that their politicians are every bit as bad as ours but the government is hard on illegal/boat people immigrants. They are not being allowed to land in Aus and are sent to a pacific island and told they will never be granted Aus citizenship. Then they are sent to Papua New Guinea and told to apply for citizenship there.
The opposition, who look like winning the election, have their own proposal of buying up all the old fishing boats in Indonesia to prevent them being used for illegals.
It`s been pointed out that all that will do is kick start the Indonesean boat building industry
i think this and the vans are a bit of subliminal messaging
I heard that the Aborigines were preparing another eviction order.
